In this video Hannah Abbott from Speech Language Planner discusses the Stuttering Severity Instrument 4th Edition (SSI-4), which is a standardized assessment that measures the percentages of syllables stuttered in people who stutter. The SSI-4 Complete Kit comes with examiner record forms, Computerized Scoring of Stuttering Severity Software Version 2.0, and the Examiner’s Manual. This assessment is designed for individuals over the age of 2 years and 10 months. Administration time is approximately 15-20 minutes and may increase depending on the individual’s level of participation.
